New Date: Library Book Talk | Joanne Jacobson on Every Last Breath: A Memoir of Two Illnesses Online
Join us on Tuesday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) and hear Joanne Jacobson, Professor Emerita of English and Former Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Yeshiva College, discuss her book, Every Last Breath. When Jacobson’s writing about her mother’s respiratory illness was interrupted by her own diagnosis with a rare blood disorder, she found her perspective profoundly altered. Every Last Breath follows these two chronic illnesses as they grow unexpectedly intertwined. Co-sponsored by the YC English Department, the Wilf Campus Writing Center, and Pre-Professional Advising Programs.
